I'm a little confused, the file posted is an .msi, aren't firmware files .bin files to be uploaded by the web interface? not microsoft installer files?

It installs the software on your system so you can use Ista-D to install it on the Icom.

Ah ok thanks. I'm gonna give it a try now. Hope I can figure it out I haven't seen how to upgrade ICOM firmware using ISTA before.
