is automatically available in the "BMW Map Downloader" and if it is available there (these days) it usually goes online too

you can only have 1map on there, not all. failing that you would need to have at least 3cars on your account to have those, then another 5 to have rest

No, BMW never give a detailed breakdown of exactly what they changed but they will have updated POIs, any road adjustments plus any new roads etc, certainly worth doing but if you're interested if they fixed a particular issue in their map data for instance then there's no fix log or change list (would be massive anyway)
