hmm.. I have similar problem with VCDS English version (polish VCDS works without any problem).

have you set your pc bios to these settings ?
BIOS->Security->Memory Protection->Execution Prevention [Disable]
this can affect car related sw

I don't have this option. It's an old Lenovo y580.

ahh, have you ever installed Alex Flasher without dongle on that Lenovo ?
some have bios protections thatcan interfere with car soft like vcds Alex flash etc

I have never installed Alex Flasher, but VCDS previously worked without a problem. I will update my laptop to WIN10 21H2 soon.

i try to install immodoctor and immo17 but when i register it, windows say invalid file name ?
Now the blocking remains with the message:
Invalide file name
the software's file name had been changed.
Please restore the original file name.
This program will now close
have a solution please ?

if you change the software filename (rename it) it will not run....
the answer is in your message
so... something is changing the software file name... either you.... or something else on your system, restore the original filename and it will run

Indeed I have ._cache_IMMO DOCTOR 2.1 - RB.exe in the task manager perhaps a virus... I will find out. thanks for your support.
