Hey gents,
I've been the unfortunate victim of wreckless WinKFP use and managed to mess up my CIC.
I can talk to the BO, GW and CIC-H. I can also update the BO and CIC-H, but I cannot update the GW. Try as I might, I just cannot update it. Looking at the ZIF, I can see that the ZIF is corrupt, although the backup ZIF is correct.
Any way to fix this?
So, in order to get the CIC working, I managed to find another CIC. I've installed this in the car and obviously NAV isn't working. I've received the FSC codes from BMW for the original CIC, and I've changed the VIN using Tool32 on the BO, the GW and the CIC-H
I'm trying to load the new FSC codes using Ista/P, but it refuses to load the new FSC codes. I'm assuming I need to delete the old FSC codes first before I can load the correct ones?
Can anyone give me some advice here?
So I guess that makes two questions then?

Try to reset the FSC code with Tools32,

Hi Johnno,
Thanks for that. When I execute it, it shows "KEINE_AUTHENTISIERUNG" - no authentication.
Any ideas?
PS: I also tried deactivating the FSC's in Ista/D and it didn't allow me to.

I've seen the thread over at bmwcoding where that info came from. And it's confirmed there, like in my case, that it doesn't work.

100% right, but was tinking he only disable fsc and want import same fsc.
To make it complete if new fsc have higher creation date you can just overright them

Do you have more information about "replace software controller with virgin by ftp"?
