How to disable active steering on E60
First you need to flash DSC unit with winkfp expert mode from DSCA variant to DSC variant.
ZUSB with AFS ------------- > ZUSB without AFS
6768616 ------------- > 6768648
6769709 ------------- > 6769705
E60 DSC only has Program File .0pa. There are no .0da files for it!
After that remove $217 from VO FA and code whole car or at least KOMBI SGM DSC SZL.
Finally remove Fuse #4 40A and calibrate steering angle.

Does not work with all E60s
I have already had several cases where the car, after disabling AFS, braked after turning left or right, which became terribly dangerous.
The number of turning turns in AFS is smaller than in a regular steering wheel

I think Semi14 has a pont. From my understanding, the same steering angle will result in a different angle at the wheel even with the afs disabled ?

Well the steering rack is completely different.
