I have a damaged car odometer in Golf VII with the numbers 5G1920791B and I bought 5G1920791. Is it possible to update it to the new SGO 5G1920791B or reprogram the NEC 70F3525 processor? Will I damage the car odometer this way? I have a copy made by VVDI and X-tool.

Yes, 2180 can be updated to 791B..
What happened to the old one?
