F15 Hybrid failed battery pack? - willisodhiambo - 26-02-2024
I have an F15 X5 that suddenly went dead with drive train error. The Hybrid switch contactors are disconnected. However is shows under and over voltage concurrently on two cells. Is this likely a failed battery? It seems this generation needs an EOS tester. Any ideas how I can approach this repair?
I could open up the pack and recharge the batteries on bench or replace the cell 2 and 4 but I bet I still need a means to initialize the SME to reconnect the contactors. Advise is welcome.
