Bmw e60 Window - k.b.5082 - 26-02-2024
Hello, I have a problem with the driver's window of a BMW e60, it shows an error: failure in the anti-jamming protection of the window regulator. protection.
I have tried restarting as ista says and I can't get it to work.
Do you have any special method to restart the window

Assuming the respective fuses are intact, check if the ABL function for power window initialization is available with ISTA if not already performed.

Ok, I'll look at options with ista again, but I haven't seen options for this car......

what kinda of E60, year? There is a bulletin for this on older E60's
SITUATION
Anti-trap function is activated when raising the front window.
CAUSE
Bent window guide base lip and/or a defective window motor.
PROCEDURE
For vehicles produced up to 04/2004 perform the following:
Replace the window guide of the affected window.
Replace the window motor of the affected window.
Replace the window motor clamping bracket of the affected window.
For vehicles produced from 04/2004 to 09/2005 perform the following:
Replace the window motor of the affected window.
Replace the window motor clamping bracket of the affected window.

Where does it show you that error??? On screen or in faults??? Also you SURE message is about anti-jamming, not anti-trapping???
If on screen you may be activating panic closing, then that message is perfectly normal.
