Adding a new vehicle/model to "Reingold" ISTA+ - dieselweasel - 18-03-2024

Hello everyone,
I have a question about the procedure below.
So far I have mainly used Rheingold or ISTA+ with my old F30 to look up repair instructions and read out error memories. I got a complete installation in 2016 and installed it. Now I have a new vehicle (G87, built in 2024).
Now the question arises, how do I get this vehicle integrated as simply as possible so that I can also use repair instructions etc. for it? What do I have to reinstall/copy or similar?
Best regards,
dieselweasel.

You need at least ISTA version 4.45.3x!

That means a complete reinstallation, or is it enough to copy relevant data into the appropriate folder?

Completly new install!

And given it's a very new model, be prepared that all data will be improved for it quite regularly for years to come, meaning MANY reinstalls...

Thank you very much, sorry for my many questions, that means I would have to reinstall this:

Or where can I find a complete package?

You will have to either buy fake ISPI license or standalone. Many sellers here, look in the banner on top or in marketplace area. No more freebies... I would suggest buying from Sedoy, as you can get actual answers to your questions. And not "I don't know" to anything you ask.

I'd suggest you buying from Sedoy too because he contributes so many to the community.
If you really don't want to pay, you could use free 4.37.4x standalone version from Sedoy and the latest SDP data.

OK, I think I'll come back to Sedoy. As far as I know, 4.37.4x doesn't support G87 M2 (??), see first answer above.

4.37 was released in 2022, your car in 2024. Now connect the dots... You need ISTA which was released LATER than you car for it to support it.

P.S. And it's NOT about the model of a car, but a SPECIFIC CAR's release date, because there is certain VIN mapping in ISTA's databases and your car's VIN must be in there.
