Change throttle position J34P, starting problem
Hello,
I have a problem with a Peugeot 207 1.4I motor TU3JP KFV. the problem is random, it can occur when the engine is cold or hot but not all the time. The car starts and then immediately stops. However, if I lightly press the accelerator pedal, the car starts without any problem. I am providing a link where you can find a video of a problem similar to mine. The only fault in the ECU is P1676 reversible alternator. It was replaced with a new one and the same problem persists. There were some signs of oxidation on the ECU connector, I cleaned it and the problem remains, the water temperature sensor is new and the same issue persists. Try new ECU but same problem... I wanted to know if it is possible to modify the engine mapping to change the throttle opening at startup; when it is at 10 or 11%, it won’t start, but when I press the accelerator and the position goes to 14%, the car starts without any problem. So, is it possible to set the opening to 12% when starting the car and see if there is any improvement? Unless someone has already had this problem and knows the solution, I’m all ears ![]() Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you |
