msd80 cloning with autotuner possible?
Hi,
I have a msd80 to clone because of internal fault. (already checked the mosfets, there good) I was wondering if this is possible with autotuner? Ive read that 1:1 backup writing is possible if your donor has the same HW number. Can someone confirm this? The tools i have, autotuner, kessv2 clone, ktag clone, autel ms909s2, inpa cable. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this. Donor ECU is still in transit so i can't post a file yet. Thanks in advance! |

Join the AutoTuner Tool Community on Facebook. You'll probably get more specific answers there. I know there was this exact question asked previously. The only issue some people brought up is the boot password needing to be changed if you use bench. Seemed OBD was a safer option. Never done it myself.
