Hi Guys
Anyone has tried to repair High Voltage battery of BMW 750i Active Hybrid.

6.5 Ah

the reason why I have disassabled battery unit is, car mileage is just 55,000 and 2010 model but very fresh and clean. very rear used, and it was recently brought from Japan. car was not starting, and not taking charge from 100A 14 volt flash programmer charger, charge was not going up 35% and there were permanent faults on battery storage unit, 

and I decided to open and discover and try to repair, 


Any suggestions or succussfull experiments are welcome. 

there are 35 cells connected, which cells are best suited I will have to choose. 

Im trying to repair and restore it as experimental purposes, 
I will need your suggestion or your DIY experiencein completing this job succussfully.

How far did you get with this project? Also have a hybrid 5 F10 with faulty battery or hybrid system. Car starts but does not shift gear until a short time after. Power delivery very weak for a n55 engine.

Any updates on this project? I want to open up an active 5 hybrid battery and have the following in mind,

1. What charger can be used to charge the cells on bench?
2. How easy to get replacement cells i.e what source?

Those high voltage battery’s are not designed to be repaired if I’m correct, like you can on normal hybrid/electric bmw. But your need to know correct voltage and good lithium charger. if cells are aged or faulty probably not possible to charge them correctly. Since bmw doesn’t offer replacement cells for these battery packs you need to trace down any source that can supply cell packs with correct dimensions, voltage and amperage.
