Vojno - just wanted to say thank you for your support and advice.
Bike arrived today at 10am and within 2 hours had it repaired. The gamble appears to have been a good one, the bike is in good condition and has only covered 4800 miles (year 2017). Upgraded the software -- which unlike the cars, did not write the mileage to the KOMBI. Used Tool32 as advised to correct the mileage to match the DME. The revving problem (I think) was caused by the throttle position sensor not being calibrated. Will be having its MOT (roadworthiness test in the UK) tomorrow and hopefully will be riding it by the end of the week. |
