Hello! Short question: can I update just OCU without MIB3? My problem is that I have an error on Telematics :" Internal control module memory check sun error". Firmware is 0083. Thank you! MIB has firmware 0156. In case of update MIB3 and on the car is Dynaudio sound system, I will loose sound too?

Is it not possible to get this for VW, like for Skoda?
Aren't they the same systems or maps anyway?

I guess Skoda has made the keys ready for every VIN, VW has not. Don't know why.

Got the details, thanks for that. But here's a question that's been bugging me. I currently have software 0156 in a 2020 Passat GTE. I don't have any diagnostic equipment, so I cannot check what OCU version is currently installed. If I install 088 and that is already installed or a higher version, what would the worst case scenario be? Would the update just fail, or something more serious? The car was in for a recall on the SOS unit in November but I don't have any documentation on that.
The MIB3 currently has no globe showing, so any connectivity is zero.
