Hello all

I have a Mercedes Sprinter W910 van that i purchased from a company. Sadly it's limited to 56mph. 
As this is used privately now, is there a way i can remove this limiter? What software will i need?

I'm used to VCDS and PIWIS etc, what is the best one to use for Mercedes?

The car is not limited, it's just in a limp mode, basically the car is restricted so you can drive it to the nearest workshop, because there is a problem with the drivetrain. Can be anything, from turbo, to MAF/MAP sensors, to temperature sensors and even worse. So go check it out.

Anyway the best to scan the car is Xentry/DAS. Or just use any other scanning tool.

It's not in limp mode, it's speed restricted as it's a 5 ton vehicle built on a sprinter chassis so they limit it at factory. It can be removed with the right software, which i'm trying to find out.

That's the question, read ECU with what software / Dongle? I'm looking at what i need to talk to this vehicle first.
