RE: Audi A8 Navigation Model
That looks like the 2011 on 3GP MMI
You can apply the K0900 update (be careful if Bose, omit all bose packages) I used a modified version which has Bose already removed. Then the 2017 map and activater are on here too Albert |

(10-05-2017, 07:47 AM)Navigationmaster Wrote: If u update to 900 u will lost KBD Old thread, but might be good if happens to anyone else. Had the same issue with 2011 A7. Going from P0485 to K0900. Step 1/1 Updates 12 - after the 1/12 successful update, I had "KBD unreachable" or some fault like this. I pressed "retry" and waited for 10 minutes, but the screen was stuck on 1 OK 0 N/A 0 NOK and not responding. I rebooted MMI with the three buttons combination, and the firmware update procedure continued. After 30 minutes 12 OK 0 N/A 0 NOK - BUT had issue with the screen (not closing and opening at all), but the MMI rebooted and firmware update was "successful". Then I used K0942, User-defined and chose manually all options in KBD (bootloader and application). K0942 update didnt give any errors and the issue with the screen was fixed. Hoping to be useful to someone. |

RE: Audi A8 Navigation Model
I don't see what kind of firmware you have. I do this all the time, namely the custom 07xx firmware as an intermediate, and then the extreme 09xx and everything is always fine
USA to EU (Volvo, Mersedes, Audi, Vw, Porsche, Lexus, Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, BMW, Mitsubishi, Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, Ford, Nissan), SRS CLEAR , ODOMETR , CAR RADIO

Quote:From my own experience, straight jump to P1001 never (done it like 3 times) never caused issues. Maybe depends what is the initial firmware. And maybe there is a certain firmware since which you can go straight to K09xx or P1001. Before this certain firmware you have to do a intermediate firmware update to like K07xx for example. |
