Online server yes but you still need an activation document with codes on which is still several hundred pounds/Euros in itself....

If you can get parts cheap enough and have the know how, you could update the system to the MMI 3GP and get maps from here for less than 2 years worth of updates from Audi!!!

I have Audi Q3 with RMC so it's impossible to update to 3GP

THis is to update MMI 3G, not 3GP. Sure, it's better to collect parts yourself, it will be cheaper.
