NBT RESTART LOOP AFTER MAP UPDATE
Hy guys! I have a F31 BMW and I retrofitted an NBT HU on it. The retrofit was executed with fsc's. Everything worked fine until I have updated the maps to 2018-2. The instalation progress was at 99%, than the unit restarted. No massage saying "update complete" or something like that. The same thing happend with 2 similar units. I thgouth that the first one was defective and replaced it with another one. The same problem reappeared. The units restart after 30 to 50 seconds. I changed the map source. What can I do to solve this??? Please help!

maybe some corrupted data on usb? both units same behaviour - same map data

I turned off TMC, and averything related to it. Everything worked fine until I planned one trip. The unit has gone crazy again, and restarted herself.

I have the same problem after updating BMW ROAD MAP EUROPE NEXT 2018-2. I paid for 1 year map update in BMW ConnectedDrive web side, download map with BMWDownloadManager, updated map. Head unit restart after 20 to 30 seconds. Сar has a warranty, dealer changed the head unit to the new one. After replacing head unit have again old map version. Now I'm afraid to update map. I sent a message to BMW ConnectedDrive service, week passed no answer. Dealer said he did his job, the rest is my problem. BMW has а worst customer support.

so the solution is simple
 if your unit is crashed, than buy maps on CD and tell bmw that their maps caused the crash xDD

Possible problem is old version software in head unit. Before installing BMW ROAD MAP EUROPE NEXT 2018-2 version of the software in head unit was 001.xxx.xxx. from this file UPD05074.bin, after installing BMW ROAD MAP EUROPE NEXT 2018-2 version of the software in head unit was 002.xxx.xxx But these are only my guesses
