RE: Motorrad esys coding using ENET and ICOMD cable
What about bikes like my S1000XR that has analogue cluster but OBD2 port (square not round). I want to change from MPH to KMH. Do I need ISTA P for this? My ISTA+ when I go to Vehicle Modification tab says bad connection!

RE: Motorrad esys coding using ENET and ICOMD cable
This bike handles only ISTA+ as I as we have discussed many times!
If the bike is from US then this change can only with correct system (ICOM-A or plus ICON-D....) The ECE bike has the possibility to change in menue. Vojnó

RE: Motorrad esys coding using ENET and ICOMD cable
I have icom clone (aka. icom next Chinese) and it works with ISTA+ perfecto! Reading, clearing faults, but Vehicle Modification tab doesn't because it says bad or invalid connection. It says to reconnect, unplug/plug, ignition on/off doesn't work!
I know ECE models have this option enabled... probably by coding... I know which parameters to change, but cannot get them. For US market they set it hard to MPH only (bull***t!) |

RE: Motorrad esys coding using ENET and ICOMD cable
You will have a problem with the ISTA installation.
Can you program/code a car with it? The ECE model can set up the User, Not need to coding! (in EU people doesn't sue everyone, but read the user manual, or does he know what he bought!) The US market cannot be switched by the user!!!! only coding! (for "security" reasons, Americans should not convert the unit of measure!!!) Vojnó
