Hi..

Ive been having issues updating on MOST with latest versions of ISTA+ with dhcp configured router connected. Ive been using the exact same setup with no issues for years with updating through ista without issues, but ever since latest firmware 3.15.08 and ista version i am not able to succeed with flashing HUH. Ive been using Sedoys installer ever since first release.
Anyone have any hints about this? Im getting grey hairs over this as i cannot figure this out.

Ive set router ip to 192.168.0.1 and sub mask 255.255.0.0, PC ip as auto dhcp gets ip 192.168.0.9. Dhcp router range set to 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.199, and icom ip gets ip 192.168.0.30.
subnet mask is 255.255.0.0 in router configuration and same is set for windows ethernet dhcp.

I cannot spot where this goes wrong. It all started after one of the latest ISTA updates with firmware update, and first of all i was getting ICOM connection error and couldnt calculate measures plan as connection was wrong. Then i ended up resetting my router back to factory and entered everything manually again as it was before and now i have a g31 for software that fails HUH update.....

You can try this without router

Ip from itoolradar and then : 58000

Then in icom settings

Static ip adres

ICOM IP: 192.168.68.85
Mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 192.168.68.99

In your LAN network card set IPv4 as static:

192.168.68.99
Mask: 255.255.255.0

As interface in ISTA choose "ICOM /ENET local area network"
You don't have to set your ICOM IP in ISTA. ISTA will automatically read it from your local area network card.

I think you are running into the issue which is described in ISTA release notes - namely an issue in a new ICOM next firmware. Currently they suggest you use ICOM in such a case. But IMHO you can also use ENET cable.

By MOST i am talking about the communication platform to the units, headunit, kombi etc. on F and G series. These obviously failed programming for me using router, that has always been working but untill latest updates it fails to program. I aware that flashing is by ETHERNET.

Enet cable with ista+ you need dhcp sever program. In tools folder from Sedoy

But why would i downgrade firmware for use with new ista, if i can use it to programming without problems programming headunit and on Ethernet protocols without router with your settings?

Using your recommended Settings will not make icom appear……
