Hi guys,

I am using Sedoy's ISTA+ Standalone but I need ISTA/P for programming my E92.

Do I need ISTA/P Standalone or can I just unpack ISTA/P files into the directory to get it working?

I wish to use the same SP-Daten files to save space

Why unpack it in ista+. Use ista-p for your E92 thats the best.

ISTA+ will NOT program your E92. Period. No files "unpacking" or whatever will change that. Use ISTA-P as intended. ISTA+ handles programming of new cars which E-Sys handle ONLY. It also does NOT contain any SPDatens, so NOTHING to be saved on space.

Many times I have seen a cocktail of files and folders on my clients' computers, and even not unzipped files are also there.

When I asked him why he did this, he answered - I followed the instructions.

This is realy easy.

First you install Sedoys ISTA. Use the installer and you dont have to think at all. Program is doing everyting for you.

Download ISTA-P 3.69.0.400 and unzip whit 7zip og winrar to folder "C:EC-Apps".
When that is done you copy ISTA-P Loader into C:\Program Files. Run C:\Program Files\ISTA-P Loader\BMW ISTA-P Loader.exe. Enter the license key from the Activation Key.txt file in the same folder, and click Continue. After that ISTA-P Loader closes. Start ISTA-P Loader again and select Manual Search. Choose the path ISTA-P installation. In your case "C:EC-Apps\ISTA-P.

and you can use loader 6.6 in automatic search
