I modified the original 46.11 inx file ,replace the setup.inx and you can install on any pc

Consult 4 is clone consult 3 , it is same thing!!

Consult III plus has j2534 implementation and has validated the same J2534 Tools as NER's with the same access authority of 1, In Which the VI is Included.

VI2 has a different access authority of 2

the access determines the database use, this can be seen when you have used the soft by opening up the DiagnosticTool.ini file and looking at the [Tab index] it will be 1 if using passthru.

Anyway back to your question.
Yes your Consult 4 can work with PLUS Version but you will be limited to around 2012 vehicles and have same functions of standard consult 3, Mainly because you tool is not covering new protocol covered by the VI2 and Plus authority access.

If you find an tool that covers all protocols and edit some files then the software can work well with Pass thru

your interface don't work with Consult 3 Plus, well it does but not full coverage, Only the same as consult 3 so why not just use consult 3

IF you want to use it as "Generic" PassThru (J2534) VCI, You need To Replace "DiagnosticTool.ini"

replace the file in which maybe someone will give path

Abritus just relased a new update for passthru for Nissan, any body tried?

I keep on getting an error at the very end saying the " wizard was interrupted before consult 3 plus could be installed" I am installing this on a window's 8 labtop and I set the software run under "xp sp3" compatibility. What am I doing wrong? Also does anyone have an install docs?
