Hello friends, 

a friend unfortunately has a problem with his vehicle and also with his "tuner".

He has rebuilt and made the following parts:

- larger LLK
- bigger turbo
- DPF off
- EGR off
- Adblue off

It currently has 2 problems, the Adblue message keeps appearing on a whim and at low revs the engine or transmission jerks, you have to downshift for the jerking to go away - the problem occurs when the engine is at very low revs.
On Comfort would be the standard power, on Sport the increased power.

He would like to have the original performance / original map and change his tuner because the tuner itself is no longer available. Then an experienced should perhaps write the software and test times.
According to the diagram, he currently drives ~420hp and 820 Nm.

My question, what can I do so you can help me? Which program? Which cable? Where can I get smart and learn?

My advice to you is to contact ZenterPerformance or Jurebv   
They are professionals in their field

If you want original software, its preferable to use Esys with latest pszdata to flash DME/DDE.
Also you can use Ista for restore (but... Ista will flash whole car, instead of one module)

Is there the possibility to save the current software to briefly test the originals to then play again the changed software with ESYS or can this only the originals?

A backup of the current software can be done on bench direct on the ecu! The tools i have, read the file virtual over obd and download a copy from a database!
With ESYS, you can just flash a original software from BMW from psdz-database to the ECU - then the ECU will be un-tuned, but you have the latest sw version

A question, a colleague had the software done on his G31 by Tuner A, used the vehicle, and now wants to sell it and have everything back to stock.
- Turbocharger has been reverted to stock.
- Intercooler has been reverted to stock.
- Diesel particulate filter was empty, he installed a used full one back, it's stock again.

Tuner B reinstalled an original map and the vehicle doesn't start anymore, the car cranks but doesn't ignite.

As a beginner, can I now assist with Esys?
Tuner B said no, his reasoning was that I would lock his control unit with ESYS or something. Tuner B also can't help anymore, which is why the colleague has to go back to Tuner A, but that takes a few days.
