Mini one FRM passenger window problem
Have a problem with 2007 Mini one R56, the passenger window has stopped working, have code:

9CDB FRM: terminal 30B connection, power window, faulty

I have checked power for windows to FRM on pins 1 and 3 for, all good Ive also checked wires from FRM to windows motor in door and also all good, some say this is a software problem, can it be repaired?

The FRM is:

R56 HIGH
6135 3452092 - 01
SW: 58030
HW: 08

RE: Mini one FRM passenger window problem
Have you checked if the window opens and closes when you directly apply 12v to the pins that go to the motor?
This version of FRM does not have the quadrature encoder that the newer FRMs have, so it just monitors the current.
If the window opens and closes correctly when 12v is applied and initialization with ISTA still fails, I suspect that the module has defective hardware.

Flash with winkfp for example.. It's just a last step before replacing the module

RE: Mini one FRM passenger window problem
If you flash with WinKFP, code it afterwards with NCS expert. Other methods like ISTA/Autel/Autologic etc. will flash and code at once.
You'll need to be able to do this anyway when you replace the FRM, so why not try it on your current frm.
