I got a BMW today with the following errors:

-0x930ABD   Interner Steuergeraetefehler
-0x016041   Parameter-CRC-Fehler Algorithmus, Front


The vehicle had an accident, the damage was repaired. There were no mistakes.

The car was in the BMW workshop last week, after the software update came the errors.


I have no solution.

HEllo toghether,

I know it is an old thread but the topic is the same. I have here an F80 from US...I fon´t knwo who "repaired" the car...the new owner bought the car with Airbag failure.

ISTA said replace ACSM4 (internal error)....we took the same part number...and FDL coded (compared with FDL values present in ACSM which came with car) and yes all errors were gone. I did powerdown with ISTA...started engine and so on...all OK.

Then after 1 hour we started the car again and the error came back....the same on.


Flashing is not possible as ESYS wants to do HWDEINST and HWINST....

Checked via VIN the proper partnumber for the ACSM and yes, it is matching both ACSM we have here.

So before we buy 1 more ACSM and kill it, any Idea what could have caused the error?

One more thing: the SBK connector is still plugged in on Battery-Plus but it was set to nicht_aktiv in FDL, so they didn´t replaced it with new one after crash, they just overrided it.
