F87 M2 Track Car Coding
Hello CT,

I am currently trying to remove all of the error lights from a Track prepped F87. So far, I deleted most of the FA from the car and factory coded the 12 modules left (REM, CON, HU-H, KOMBI, FEM, EKPS, GHS, DME, DSC, ICM and EPS) as well as coded the VCM. ISTA still shows the ACSM and IHKA as red (I assume I just need to manually delete them from the SVT?).

The main issue now is that the vehicle is having the headlights deleted and is currently throwing faults (I also assume the car is not going to sleep). I am assuming all I need to do is go in the FEM module and set anything with LMR (Headlight leveling sensor) and TMS (Headlights) and set them to Nicht_Aktiv? Has anyone done this before?

Also the seat belt light is on the kombi and I was unable to find a way to code that out. The window motors, engine fan and AC system are throwing codes. Has anyone been able to code them out of the car before?

I appreciate any help on this as I have been unable to find much information on this online.

I would code LWR off and you should be Ok. Post here all errors from ISTA and from idrive.

Best I would guess for you will be to read all units with esys in coding, in OPTIONS-SETTINGS-OPTIONS check update VCM after TAL execution and it should update your modified SVT.

I went into the FEM and set anything with LWR and TMS to nicht_aktiv and now all of the lighting errors are gone!

I still was unable to get the seat belt error light to go away and now all I am showing are some window error faults and a lot of no message received faults. I updated the VCM after tal and the ASCM and IHKA are still showing up on the module tree as red. I think I just have to manual delete the modules in the SVT.

RE: F87 M2 Track Car Coding
I recently prepared g82 for track and this particular error (status of seat belt buckle contact, seat occupancy was giving me a hard time. The only way to get it away was to take a belt buckle contact (doesn’t matter front or rear) and connect it to the car. Of course I disassembled it and only kept the internals to save weight.

Red modules don’t seem to go away in latest ISTAs even if you change the VCM.
