Hi. I have upgraded to mib std2 multimedia in golf mk6 golf. Tollbox installed with 2x serial programmers and usb. ( not easy way) in gateway no selection 5F module. May enough to update my gateway? Because all working time sync all ok. And from steering wheel buttons working. From gateway removed radio and navi. Now show incorrect coding. When I type 5F manually finding this module. And I ordered from ali usb for CarPlay because with 5Q003572g not working.  Question: may someone have update file? I have ori vcp

You will need new Gateway, HH40-HH53 can be updated only up to version 1642 due to size of internal memory.
To correctly communicate with 5F module, you will need HH55-58 version with SW1663 or higher, depending on components in your car (see bellow).


HH55 = Basic + LIN1 + LIN2
HH56 = Basic + LIN1 + LIN2 + CAN-EXT
HH57 = Basic
HH58 = Basic + LIN1

LIN1 = Generator, BEM
LIN2 = Analog Clock, Panorama
CAN-EXT = RDKS, AFS, SIDE ASSIST

Software versions: 1663, 1673, 1682, 1691, 1708 (latest)

Note: You currently have HH42 in your car which is "basic" GW and you can upgrade to any version HH55-58

No you cant because it is MQB Kombi. Also dont remove Radio and Navi from gateway list and better add Telephone to GW List then you will have Navi Phone and radio on Kombi. Other way Kombi will not show these!

You can modify yours Gateway by replacing on it eeprom ST(AT) 95320 to ST(AT) 95640 and program with attached dump and program it with ODISE to latest firmware of gateway. before doing this copy all coging adaptations and GW installation List from original and load all this after update to 7N0907530BC  7N0907530CA and restore coding adaptations and fix GW List

No, 3Q0 is only for MQB platform
You need to use 7N0907530BC or newer version (SW1663, HH55-58) which is for PQ35/46 platforms

Thanks I will do. Update file yuo have is well to odis? In yozu attachment eeprom file with programmer. But just eeprom or some component is well? This eeprom is ok? Thanks

I have removed eeprom from edc16cp35 broken ecu bmw. 8kb. Write vvdi prog you file.  May tomorrow try to gateway.  I don’t want download full vw flash data. May someone have file to write? Thanks

Thanks you solution works super. I just did mistake with list in gateway didn’t save before but figured out. Just strange I remove 46 block from list and I get error incorrectly coded. But golf 6 don’t have it.
