Hi Guys,
I'm new to this so go gentle on me.

I have customer has blanked off EGR and has engine warning light / P0409 stored. 
Would somebody out there be able to assist me with EGR off?
I'm happy to pay for good solution if required. 

I have full backup of the ECU and separate full flash read and an external eeprom read. I have no idea whats needed for DTC off so will just attach them all

Please let me know if can help Or advise if i need to do anything else at my end

Sorry guys I know this is a noob question but I don’t want to make a mistake on customer car. 
Can somebody confirm where to write the modified file with EGR off.

Hi All,
I am having problem unzipping the file.
Winzip shows file is corrupt/missing data.
CenturianM / somebody - can you check your file / test download and unzip at your end?

Ok. So CenturionM pointed out i needed WINRAR to unpack file - not winzip! Hurdle number 1 overcome. Thank you.
Hurdle number 2 - where to write modified file. CenturionM advises write file to Flash. Thank you. 


Now i have new problem 3. Password - priv - is not accepted by winrar. Shows password incorrect. I cannot unpack file. 

CenturionM - Has password for download changed?


I am so close to getting this job done i dont want to give up!

CenturionM has been very helpful so far. I understand it is frustrating dealing with Noobs but we all have to learn from somebody. Respect and much thanks will be given to centurionM

I have PM'd him for a new password. (the original password given when the file was posted (priv) does not work for me).

Perhaps you can test password for me at your end ?

New problem. Hexprog doesn't see the file.
Appears hexprog looks for .BIN file only.

Do i need to change mod file to .BIN format?

If so how to change? 

Or can only use different tool? 

As always i appreciate the assistance.
